My NICU Graduate's Journey
After Zaire was born, he had to go straight to the NICU, and was put on oxygen to help his breathing. After a week or two, he was able to come off of oxygen and breathe on his own. He did have his feelings through a tube but they gradually introduced bottle feeding to him. After a couple of weeks he finally completed a whole 24 hours on the bottle and was able to come home.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
What makes me proud of Zaire is that he’s been hitting all of his milestones, even though he was born prematurely.
