My NICU Graduate's Journey
Brinley was born prematurely at 28 weeks and 5 days at 1 pound 15 ounces due to mom having HELLP syndrome. She was born with hydrocephalus and spent 3 months straight in 2 different NICUs in different states. She had to be transferred to the second NICU at UK, Lexington KY due to having brain surgery to place an OR in her brain at 4 pounds.

She is a fighter and to this day you would never guess that’s the same little girl.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
She is very smart, she has leaped over all the obstacles in her way! Despite her rough start, she is already testing above her age level.
