My NICU Graduate's Journey
Averleigh was born at 32 weeks gestation (2 months early) due to IUGR (growth restriction) because of severe pre-eclampsia. She was a little fighter, born at 3lbs, 1oz and required oxygen with cpap assistance for 5 days, and room temp nasal cannula for 2 days before removing all oxygen assistance. She stayed in the NICU for a total of 1 month. She has never been set behind. Even with adjusting her age by 2 months she was always ahead of the game.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
She is so strong, determined, smart, and knows exactly what she wants and will not stop until she gets it. I am so proud of the little girl she is!
