My NICU Graduate's Journey
Riley spent 119 days in the NICU after being born more than 16 weeks early, weighing just 23 ounces. His birth took place at a hospital that was not equipped to care for him, and the staff fought tirelessly to keep him stable until an ambulance from Children's Hospital could arrive and transport him to a suitable NICU. Today, he embodies resilience and joy, thriving as a happy, healthy little boy.
