My NICU Graduate's Journey
Julia was born at 22 weeks and approximately one and a half pounds. She was given about a 5% chance of survival we almost lost her several times but she is a fighter. Thanks to all the doctors nurses and everyone else who helped her. She survived and left the hospital at 4 1/2 months old she was still on oxygen and was a fragile child but grew stronger every day and now we have a lovely young woman

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Julia is my hero ! She has been through so much and never complains always a smile on her face. She has been through two bilateral lung transplants. Put herself through nursing school and is living life to its fullest.
