My NICU Graduate's Journey
Dupree was born at 23weeks and 5 days. His birth weight was 1.48lbs. He spent 99days on the NICU. He has a PDA surgery within two weeks of his birthed. He has multiple blood transfusion. He also had ROP. The Respiratory Team was his best friends. He was on ever form of ventilation system. He went home on a low dose of oxygen. He beat every obstacles that was thrown at him. He is now twelve years old. No brain bleeds. No ROP. Ninety plus pounds and thriving as a pre teen.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
I'm proud of Dupree for his fiestness since birth. He is stronger than many adult. However he stays humble.
