My NICU Graduate's Journey
I was diagnosed with early on-set severe preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome at 25 weeks, I was terrified. One week later, my Christopher made his arrival on September 20th, 2024. Within the first 3 weeks of life, he was diagnosed with NEC twice. Thankfully, he never needed surgery! We spent Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's with him in the NICU. After 113 days, he was finally released to go home on January 12th. Now, he is a happy, healthy 7 month old baby. We couldn't be happier as a family ❤️

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Everything! Seeing him grow, learn, be happy is all I ever wanted.
