My NICU Graduate's Journey
Cordelia was born after a long induction. Things seemed great until she began having seizures at 6 hours old. Cori was brought to the NICU where she was heavily sedated for three days while monitored for further seizures. She woke Christmas morning 2023 and began oral feeds. She was discharged NYE 2023 after 11 days and we were told all she would never do. Cori is meeting all of her developmental milestones and absolutely thriving!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
When Cori was first out on her infusion of heavy seizure meds in the NICU, we were told she would likely need to be intubated, but she never required more than a nasal cannula of supportive oxygen and was on room air most of her 11 days.
