My NICU Graduate's Journey
On January 10th my twins were born Delilah and Sebastian at 36 weeks due to Pre-eclampsia. Sebastian was a 4lb14oz tiny boy!

Not long after birth Sebastian's temperature had dropped 2 degrees so they took him to nursery to be monitored, as he was in there he failed his blood sugars test and also had a positive coombs test and that's when they decided to move him to NICU and start him on the lights due to his increased jaundice levels, while in NICU he could not figure out how to eat so he had to have a feeding tube inserted until he could manage eating and keeping it down. For about 8 days he was on 4 lights for jaundice even his touch times he had to have at least 1 light on him, it was a rough 9 days but my little fighter finally got to go home and be with his 2 big sisters where he belongs!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
We call him a warrior because thats what he is he had to fight and fight every day!
I cant wait to see my little guy grow up big and strong!
