My NICU Graduate's Journey
Ella was born at 28 weeks because she was so excited to meet us! She spent 63 long days in the NICU learning how to breathe and eat on her own. She even spent her first Halloween there and all the nurses thought she was a pretty cute skeleton. Being first time parents, it was a relief to finally get to bring her home. She started out in Huggies micro preemie diapers and it was incredible to watch her growth through her moving through diaper sizes.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
She continues to amaze us with her perseverance and courage. Even though she is smaller than most kids her age, she proves us all that size doesn’t matter when you are determined and willing to learn how to make things work. She loves dancing and coloring and is looking forward to starting preschool in the fall.
