My NICU Graduate's Journey
Davy decided he wanted to meet us early and was born at 26 weeks. Davy had a lot of ups and downs in the hospital. He struggled to be able to breathe on his own and eat on his own. Finally after having surgery to have a g-button placed, he got to break out and join his sister, another NICU grad, at home. He spent his first Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas at the hospital. The staff did an amazing job helping us celebrate his firsts and get him ready to graduate.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
I am incredibly proud that with every obstacle, set-back, and sickness that our little man has faced, he overcomes them in his own way. He continues to amaze us with his growth and progress to where he is today
