My NICU Graduate's Journey
Little Freya was born at 25 weeks weighing 1 lb 11 oz. She spent 151 days in the NICU. She was always known as the feisty one in the NICU and is still a feisty one today. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy due to being born so early and because of 2 brain bleeds, but she’s a little fighter and is learning how to stand and be active, today.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
I’m so proud of Freya. She fought so hard even when the odds were against her. Between a PDA surgery a few weeks into her birth, to multiple therapies today, she continues to persevere.
