My NICU Graduate's Journey
Our Journey was a rough one, it felt that everything that could go wrong, did. Multiple surgeries, brain bleeds, NEC, you name it. There were days we weren’t sure if we’d make it out of the NICU. Thankfully, we were lucky enough to have an amazing team of doctors and nurses that cheered us on the whole way. Eventually, things started looking up and to our amazement, Alexis just started to get better. It was truly a miracle! When we got the final word that we’d be going home after 5 long months we were overjoyed! Our NICU journey truly changed us in many ways and we will never forget the kindness and compassion our little warrior received!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Her strength, resilience and, grace. She has never met a problem that she couldn’t overcome! Watching her navigate the world inspires me everyday to be the best mom I can be for her!
