My NICU Graduate's Journey
Corey was born at 29 weeks gestation at 1lb 14oz. He spent 71 days in the NICU, went through a blood transfusion, sat under the blue light for 24hrs, and had a bilateral hernia repair at 2 months old before coming home. Since being discharged we have had 3 more surgeries. 1. Left hernia, 2. Ear pit removal, first set of tubes 3. Second set of tubes, right hernia and adnodes removed. He does wear glasses and has an infinite amount of energy. We are just finishing up kindergarten and he is such a smart, kind, loving little man.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
He is always willing to try new things. He loves his family unconditionally and enjoys building with almost anything he can get his hands on
