My NICU Graduate's Journey
Born at 34 weeks 2 days, she was 5lbs 10oz. My water broke, she was born without her lungs functioning. She was on a ventilator for a while. She spent almost a month in the NICU at the very beginning of COVID. The staff was amazing since we couldn’t have visitors and were not allowed to leave the room and she couldn’t meet her other siblings until she got discharged. I kept a journal of every day we spent in the NICU with all the positive and negative events she endured.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
My sweet girl makes me so proud with how independent and strong willed she is. This girl knows what she wants and just goes for it. She makes all who knows her laugh so much and she loves with all she has. She is so smart and such a great helper.
