My NICU Graduate's Journey
Lilian was in the NICU for 4 months. She hit her 4 month milestone a few days before she was discharged. She was born at 26 weeks gestation, due to preeclampsia. She also had been suffering from IUGR. She was 1 Lb 9 Oz at birth, 12 inches long. She suffered from chronic lung disease, heart defect, hypothyroidism, and slow growth. I am proud to say at almost 2 years old, the only thing she suffers with now is hypothyroidism. She is the strongest baby I’ve ever known and she is our little miracle. As we like to say she is our “Lily Rae of Sunshine” ❤️

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
She surpassed the goals many people had for her. She is on track with babies her age and she is growing stronger every day.
