NICU Hospital for my journeyPresbyterian
My NICU Graduate's JourneyShe was a twin born 12 weeks premature. Doctors said they wouldn’t make it to 24 weeks in the pregnancy. When they did I was hospitalized with a 90% chance of them passing away after birth. My son passed away 20 hours after they were delivered. My daughter is now 9 has had multiple hospital stays in her first few years of life, and has had multiple hip surgeries, an eye surgery and knee surgery. She’s been in basketball, softball, gymnastics and is very active. She’s always the shortest kid in class and on her sports teams. She was in the NICU for 100 days exactly. She is the most amazing little girl I’ve ever met. She’s so kind and big hearted and the best big sister/cousin.
What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?Everything makes me proud, she doesn’t let anything hold her back.
