My NICU Graduate's Journey
Cody was born at 26 weeks and he weighed 1 lb 5 oz. He was born breathing and placed on CPAP at 21%.
He developed sepsis and NEC at 7 weeks. He needed 2 surgeries and had an ostomy bag. He had one more surgery to reverse it . He stayed in the NICU for 137 days. Since being discharged he has no medications and no re-admissions. He has made so much progress with the help of early intervention and he is mostly caught up to his corrected age.
He will be 2 years old in June and we are so proud of how far he has come. He is a true miracle!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
He is such a fighter! Even after the NICU he is so determined to meet his milestones. Although he is strong willed, he is so sweet and kind.
