My NICU Graduate's Journey
She was born at 33+4 because I had Preeclampsia, she was born with heart issues because of the Preeclampsia. The right side of her heart repaired itself with I’m about 2 weeks, then she was diagnosed with left ventricular dysfunction, and had to be on medication for the first year of her life. She spend 2 months in the NICU. The left side also repaired itself with in a year. Now she is a happy healthy typically 5 year old.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Everything about her makes me proud, she is such a fighter even now! She is so smart, funny, loving and kind and she is a great big sister to her brother.
