My NICU Graduate's Journey
Dexter was born at 26 weeks gestation and weighed exactly 2 lbs. He was a twin and his twin sister was still born due to a rare diagnosis, Pentalogy of Cantrell. Dexter spent 99 days in the NICU before coming home to be with his family. Dexter was once the sickest baby in the NICU, but he was always a fighter. He is strong. He is powerful. He is loved.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Dexter has beaten every odd and he has blown everyone away with his strength, courage, and perseverance. Despite Dexter’s rough start, he had always been the happiest boy. He lights up a room. Now that Dexter is 4 years old, he is able to understand his NICU journey and he now enjoys delivering gifts to other NICU families each year at Christmas time for our annual Dex the Halls delivery.
