My NICU Graduate's Journey
George (Wes) was born 6 weeks to the day early. He was brought into the world by emergency C-section due to his heart rate dropping when I contracted. He was 4 pounds 11 ounces when he was born. He spent 6 days in the NICU. At his one month appointment with his pediatrician he was twice his birth weight. Now he is in the 90th percentile in height and weight. He is nonstop and definitely a fighter with a heart of gold.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
He is doing excellent in school. He is an amazing kid who would do anything for anyone. The minute he was born he "hit the ground running". He passed all his NICU goals before expected and he has not stopped since.
