My NICU Graduate's Journey
I didn’t know I was pregnant and had her in a bathroom stall, when she was born she was born prematurely at 35 weeks gestational, she had sepsis in her blood causing her to have CPR, they got her alive and had to place her in the NICU, she got to come home 6 days later with no septics in her blood and happy and healthy 5lbs 9oz baby girl!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Even though her stay wasn’t long it was still hard for me because during her time in the NICU, Covid was still big and around. So I wasn’t able to touch or hold her, I had to look at her through a window, until the day before she got to go home! I was so proud to walk out of there knowing she was healthy and not sick!
