My NICU Graduate's Journey
Our little miracle joined this world at 27 weeks via emergency c- section after suffering from fetal growth restriction. She was measuring the size of a 24 week old. Momma had some complicated pregnancies before her so she was monitored very closely, thankfully. There were so many unknowns on our NICU journey, but we were met with an amazing support team who walked us through every step of the way. She was so small when she was born it took many hours for them to completed the necessary treatments to keep her stable before we could see her for the first time. Everyday was a roller coaster ride of emotions, some for the better and some for the worst. We are forever grateful for the wonderful team who took the best care of our girl, and us as new parents. ❤️

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
We are so proud of how resilient she was, even being so small. This little girl should have had so many complications after leaving the NICU but she proved everyone wrong. It makes us proud to see how far she’s come and how smart she is!
