My NICU Graduate's Journey
Born at 28 weeks, at 8:00am 20 seconds apart, Olivia and Grant were born through an emergency c-section. Olivia weighed 2 lbs and Grant weighed 2lbs 14 oz. They spent 38 days in the NICU surrounded by medical angels. It was a rollercoaster of a ride, but on February 14, 2008, Valentines Day, my husband and I were given the gift of a lifetime in bringing these miracle babies home. Today, they are Juniors in HS (class of 2026), top 10 in their class and visiting colleges planning their next journey. They are happy, healthy, and living their best lives!!! Bless the wonderful Drs and Nurses in NICU’s everywhere, but especially those who wrapped their hearts and souls around these 2 with love and care for 58 days 24/7! 🥰
