My NICU Graduate's Journey
Kayla was born almost two months early and weighed 3lbs at birth. She spent the first month in the NICU before finally being discharged. While there she had to go on oxygen because her heart was dropping but only ended up having it for less than 12 hours cause she kept pulling it off and her body regulated herself. Since then Kayla has grown to be on par with her peers and is now getting ready to graduate from high school.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
I’m proud of how far Kayla has come since being born. She’s graduating from high school and starting college in the fall.
