My NICU Graduate's Journey
Stephen suffered a hypoxia injury after an umbilical Britton . He had CPR where his stomach was perforated. At 1 month of he had I testimonial resection and feeding tube placed. He was released from NICU at 75 days old. He graduated speech and occupational therapies and began eating 100% by mouth at 1 year old. He is is first grade and loves math.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
I am proud that despite all his struggles he had excitement for each day. He loves to go to school and play with other kids. He tries his best even when things are hard.
