My NICU Graduate's Journey
Born at 35 weeks our 5 pound 5 ounce boy wasn’t breathing and was quickly whisked to the NICU. Several hours later we were reunited but I wasn’t allowed to hold him for days after that due to a mix up with the nurses. After 9 long days he graduated and we were able to go home for about 2 weeks before he stopped breathing at the dance studio and had to catch an ambulance ride to the PICU for his next of many hospital stays. Over the years his lungs and body have gotten stronger. Allowing nothing to hold him back he is a multi sport athlete, performer and absolute all star!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
His resilience. Even through the hospital stays he was such a trooper. Always smiling and never knew a stranger.
