My NICU Graduate's Journey
Gracie spent exactly 100 days in the NICU after being born at 27 weeks. Gracie is truly miraculous because she came out breathing room air and only required a CPAP. I never needed to be ventilated. Gracie was diagnosed with a stage 1 hemorrhage in her brain that went away on its own. Gracie has had quite the journey with two PICU admissions within a month after being discharged but since her last illness she is going strong and doing amazing! She went from being 2.4 pounds to 13 pounds and just celebrated her 6 months of life ❤️

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
She’s the strongest person I know. She has had to fight harder than most people have in their entire life just to stay alive. The thing that makes me the proudest about Gracie is she doesn’t know she is small.. She is so strong and has amazed doctors from the moment she was born.
Gracie is 100% a testimony of God’s love and what he has the ability to do.
