My NICU Graduate's Journey
Ainsley was born at 29 weeks weighing 2LBS 5oz. Tiny but mighty! Her Mother was on bed rest at the hospital for over a month before Ainsley was born. Once she was born we were life flighted to a different hospital that could perform the surgery she needed, she had duodenal atresia. We had to watch her slowly grow for 27 days until she finally was big enough to have the surgery. It was a success, and she could finally start feeding! We ended up staying 61 total days in the NICU before we could take our little miracle baby home. What a blessing!

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
Watching her grow and overcome what she had went through in the NICU! It was a very long, hard, and stressful 61 days in the NICU, but she did it! She is now 4 years old and is the best big sister ever!
