My NICU Graduate's Journey
Xyla was born 2lbs 10oz at 31 weeks & 3 days due to severe preeclampsia & FGR. She started off on IV TPN & caffeine, CPAP, & had to be put under the blue lights. 2 weeks later, She got strong enough to finally be put on oxygen & off her IV & moved to the step down unit of the NICU! Very soon after that, it was time for her to start taking feeds by mouth & she was ready! She had no struggle with learning to eat & by 2 weeks of eating by mouth, she was able to come home with her mommy & daddy!

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
I am proud of my NICU baby for being so strong & fighting through everything to be here today.
