My NICU Graduate's Journey
Sebastian was born at 36 weeks as my twin B, a couple of hours after birth his temperature had dropped a bit putting him in the nursery for monitoring then they tested him for jaundice and it was significantly high sending him to NICU where he was put under 4 lights to help lower the jaundice numbers, while he was in NICU he was not eating very much so his sugars went down. He spent 9 whole days in NICU where he was cared for by very loving nurses and slowly but surely all of his numbers became manageable and was able to come home with mom, dad, his big sister and his twin sister.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
Every day he is learning new things from saying new words to taking his first couple of steps. He is such a STRONG little guy, how does a baby have muscles?! We are so proud of how far he has come from our tiny NICU baby to our big tall growing boy!
