My NICU Graduate's Journey
Born at 29 weeks after kicking her way into this world while mom was hospitalized with placenta previa, Josie has continued to kick her way into everyone’s hearts. On CPAP for less than 48 hours, nasal cannula for less than 2 weeks, and coming home 2 weeks before her due date. She has always been small but mighty! Her strong and fierce personality wins over everybody’s hearts. She is our Wonder Woman! Josie brings a smile and a laugh to everyone she meets. She is the smallest in her class, but makes herself known. She is in taekwondo, swim, and tball and rules her world. Next week she graduates pre-k and will begin the next step of taking over kindergarten!
