My NICU Graduate's Journey
This is Luca born 25 weeks 4 days gestation. He was only 2lbs 2oz and 14.5 inches long. He was born a fighter came out whining for such a little guy. The nicu was hard as he had a big sister at home waiting for him. I wasn’t allowed to hold him until day 22. At a month old he underwent surgery for a pda plug. He also struggled to wean off oxygen and was on it till around day 120. He loved cuddles in the nicu and we snuggled every chance we could. After 150 days he came home.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
Watching him meet milestones and accomplishments that I never thought he would ever do.
