My NICU Graduate's Journey
Cooper came into the world at 30 weeks, 4 days weighing 2 lbs, 3 oz. During his 98 day stay he endured liver surgery, a life-threatening UTI, and low blood sugar issues. During his stay he had 6 picc lines, 2 lumbar punctures, and countless IVs. Now, Cooper is almost 11 months (8 months adjusted) and is crawling, pulling himself up, and learning to eat solids.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
Like many NICU graduates, Cooper has undergone more medical procedures in his first few months of life than many will in their lifetime. He is the bravest soul I know, and every milestone he accomplishes is a celebration for our little family.
