My NICU Graduate's Journey
Our daughter Emersyn was born at 33 weeks weighing 4 lbs 8 oz due to severe preeclampsia. What started as a scary and uncertain time quickly showed us just how strong she truly is. She spent 27 days in the NICU learning how to grow, feed, and thrive while hooked up to monitors and surrounded by an incredible team of nurses and doctors. Every ounce gained, every bottle finished and every milestone felt huge. The NICU journey was emotional and challenging, but it also showed us resilience, hope, and unconditional love in a way we had never experienced before. Today, she is 9 months old, healthy, happy, and constantly on the move crawling everywhere and keeping us busy! Watching her grow from such a tiny preemie into the thriving baby she is today has been the greatest blessing and reminder of how strong NICU babies truly are.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
Our daughter has shown strength and determination since the day she was born. Despite arriving early at 33 weeks, she has continued to overcome every challenge with such resilience. We are so proud of how far she has come from tiny NICU milestones to now crawling everywhere, smiling constantly and thriving at 9 months old. She reminds us every day just how strong and capable NICU babies are.
