My NICU Graduate's Journey
Avery was born at 24 weeks and 1 day but stopped growing at 20 weeks. We spent 124 days in the NICU. Avery had a Grade 3 and Grade 4 brain bleed. Avery has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Bronchiopulmonary Dysplasia. Avery is walking, talking, and showing us all how to overcome even the hardest obstacles.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
I am incredibly proud of the independence Avery seeks and her interest in learning. Avery has thrived through therapy, doctor appointments, and every day obstacles. She is truly an inspiration to many.
