My NICU Graduate's Journey
Waylon was born at 24 weeks. He is the youngest of 7 children and was the biggest surprise. He had a rough journey in the nicu and was not expected to pull through. His amazing care team never lost hope and gave us hope and courage to keep fighting. After 99 days he graduated and is now the life of the party. He has struggles daily but his current care team keeps him going strong and meeting milestones in his own time. He is an uncle to 3 awesome nephews and shows them how to courageous and strong everyday.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
He is never sad and always has the biggest smiles. He loves everyone and loves to tell people all about his struggles. He doesn't see any of his disabilities has a negative in life. He tells everyone about them and tells them why it is great that is the way he is. Nothing gets him down.
