My NICU Graduate's Journey
Our sweet Brynleigh was born at 23 weeks at just 1lb 5oz. She had a very long 7 month stay at John Hopkins here in St. Petersburg Florida. She was well cared for by the staff there. Was able to graduate in Aug before her 1st birthday and taken home with a feeding tube. She was able to have her feeding tube removed completely on her Second birthday and just recently after her third birthday she has started PVPK at the local elementary school. She’s the sweetest little girl and so loving and caring. Loves music and arts and crafts and Swimming!!!

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
The long road she had ahead of her she came out stronger than I could imagine. Very independent and willing to learn and listen and the love she shows everyone is all things I would never imagine a baby who fought for her life for 7 months would ever be able to do!
