My NICU Graduate's Journey
Thomas was born at 31 weeks via emergency c section due to PPROM. He spent 45 days in the NICU learning how to breathe, suck, and swallow. It took a while to be able to wean him off oxygen and the feeding tube. Our tiny but mighty boy fought so hard in his first few months of life but has come so far. The NICU was the hardest season of our lives and we are forever grateful to the nurses and doctors who saved our sweet boys life.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
Thomas is doing so well today. With the exception of some developmental delays you wouldn’t even be able to tell today that he was born 9 weeks early. His favorite food is yogurt and he loves to babble and clap. He is the happiest boy with the sweetest smile.
