My NICU Graduate's JourneyOur daughter entered the world far too early and completely unexpectedly at just 26 weeks. What followed was 89 days in the NICU filled with fear, setbacks, tiny victories, and incredible strength. She battled through MRSA, a staph infection, and countless ups and downs, but she never stopped fighting. Through every hurdle, she showed us what true resilience looks like. On day 89, we finally got the moment we had dreamed of — our strong, beautiful girl graduated from the NICU and came home. From fragile beginnings to thriving today, her journey is nothing short of amazing.
What makes you proud of your NICU graduate? What makes me most proud is her strength and determination. From the very beginning, she fought through every obstacle with more courage than we ever thought possible. Watching her grow from a tiny 26-week preemie into the happy, thriving young lady she is today reminds us every day just how resilient she truly is. She’s our miracle, and we are endlessly proud of how far she has come.
