My NICU Graduate's Journey
Adeline was born at 30 weeks she is the surviving twin of her sister she was born with a heart disease called Epsteins anomaly and svt she wasn’t able to breathe on her own until she was 6 weeks she has had to have blood transfusions and surgery to get a Gtube because her heart made her not want to eat she finally came home 75 days after she was born

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
She makes me proud because she is a fighter the odds were against her since I found out I was pregnant with her she has survived twin to twin, cystic hygroma, heart disease she works so hard everyday to learn new things she is now eating from a bottle she laughs, smiles, rolls from belly to back, plays with toys I am proud because we never knew what her life would be like and she beat all the odds
