My NICU Graduate's Journey
Milan’s journey started long before he was born. He is our IVF miracle baby, loved, wanted, and prayed for from the moment he was just a tiny embryo. My wife and I went through so much to bring him into this world, and from day one, he was already so deeply loved.

My pregnancy became complicated unexpectedly, and Milan arrived early, beginning his life in the NICU. Overnight, our world became monitors, oxygen tubes, doctors, and long days spent beside his incubator praying for progress. The NICU taught us to celebrate the smallest victories, a good feeding, weight gain, being able to hold him a little longer, or hearing less alarms.

Even though he was tiny, Milan showed incredible strength every single day. He fought through challenges with a resilience that amazed everyone around him. Through the hardest moments, we reminded him constantly how loved he was. We sang to him, talked to him, and dreamed about the day we would finally bring him home.

Today, our NICU graduate is home, growing, smiling, and continuing to amaze us. His journey changed our lives forever and taught us that strength can come in the tiniest packages. Milan will always be our little miracle.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
What makes me most proud of Milan is his strength. From the very beginning, he faced challenges that no baby should have to face, yet he kept fighting with a resilience that inspired everyone around him. Watching such a tiny baby overcome so much showed me what true courage looks like.

I’m proud of every milestone he reached, especially the ones that once felt impossible in the NICU. But more than anything, I’m proud of the joy he carries now. After everything he went through, he smiles so big, loves so deeply, and continues to light up every room he enters.

Milan taught me that strength is not measured by size. He is our miracle, our fighter, and the greatest blessing we could have ever dreamed of.
