My NICU Graduate's Journey
Kit was born 6 weeks premature. She required respiratory support, intensive phototherapy due to an ABO Incompatibility, and Intravenous nutrition, She suffered a calcium burn due to an IV infiltrate which left her with a scar she will have forever.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
Her resilience and determination to always succeed despite any obstacles that are grown at her. She has excelled in school and is a member of the Math Honor Society, the English Honor Society, a National Scholar and has completed several leadership programs in addition to over 100 hours of community service. She has been taking dance for 15 years and competed on colorguard/Winterguard for 4 years during High School. She is graduating from High School with Academic distinctions, holds a 3.6 GPA, 21 earned college credits and is one of the youngest in her class at just 17 years old.
