My NICU Graduate's Journey
Anthony, Nicholas, & Christopher are triplets born at 30 weeks. Nicholas spent 48 days in the NICU and Anthony and Christopher spent 50 days in the NICU. Anthony was born weighing 2lb 8oz, Nicholas was born weighing 3lb 9oz, and Christopher was born weighing 2lb 11oz. They were born in December of 2020 in the height of COVID. I myself am a nurse and worked on a COVID until while pregnant with them up until I was let out on leave at 26 weeks. The time they spent in the NICU was one of the most stressful times of my life. Going home without them was extremely hard and visiting them each day (while having a 3 year old at home too) and praying that they were okay and that they would thrive was a very emotional journey.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
I am so proud of all their milestones and how far they have come. You would not be able to tell today that they were preemie babies. They are true miracles and I am so blessed to be their mother.
