My NICU Graduate's Journey
Rudy was born with tetralogy of Fallot with absent pulmonary valve. He spent a week in the nicu at Erlanger Chattanooga Tn and then at 2 months old was sent to Levine Childrens hospital where he spent three months in the cvicu and picu for his first of many open heart surgeries. Before going home he had his gtube placed and was all ready to go home on oxygen. Over the past year we have graduated from oxygen and all of his meds and as of today he no longer has a gtube!!

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
He is by far the strongest person I know. Despite the millions of appointments and tests and procedures he is so smiley and happy and just ready to succeed at whatever life throws at him next.
