My NICU Graduate's Journey
Brody was born via emergency C-section because mommy had preeclampsia. He needed surfactant and oxygen/CPAP. He had apnea of prematurity so decelerations constantly, turning blue. He couldn’t eat so he had an NG tube. He failed his car seat test 4 times. He was finally discharged with caffeine and a smart machine he wore for 10 weeks.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
He is fierce, smart, loving. He loves to give big kisses. He loves science and math. He is overcoming challenges like speech delays and occupational therapy. He takes medicine like a champ!
