My NICU Graduate's JourneyThese cuties made their grand entrance into the world at just 30 weeks, and from the very beginning there was quite literally no stopping them. Their NICU journey was filled with both highs and lows, but through every challenge they stayed determined to come home together on day 57 — something that’s uncommon for twins.
Every single day since, they’ve continued to amaze us with their strength, resilience, and unbreakable bond. These girls may have started out tiny, but they have always been mighty. 💚
What makes you proud of your NICU graduate? What makes me most proud of my NICU grads is how determined they have been since the very start. Born at only 30 weeks, they faced obstacles that most babies never have to endure, yet they continued to fight every single day with incredible strength and resilience. Even during the hardest moments in the NICU, they showed us just how strong their bond was and how much they wanted to be together.
As they’ve grown, they have continued to surprise everyone around them. Instead of falling behind, they’ve worked hard to reach — and often overachieve — many of their developmental milestones. Watching them learn new things, grow into their personalities, and thrive after such a difficult beginning has been nothing short of inspiring.
Their journey reminds me every day that miracles come in small packages, and that strength can shine through even the tiniest fighters.
