My NICU Graduate's Journey
Braylen was born at 27 weeks weighing 3lbs. He was in the NICU for a total of 90 days and endured many setbacks. He underwent two major surgeries to save his life. Braylen had a rough start early in life. He was nonverbal and was diagnosed with Autism at age 3. Today he is 6 years old, has exceeded expectations and is graduating from Kindergarten. He loves to play with his cars, read and listen to music.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
I am so proud of the progress he has made since his birth. What initially felt like the longest 90 days ever has become one of triumph and testimony. I am grateful to his doctors and nurses for their expert care during his time in the NICU.
