NICU Hospital for my journeyNorton Women and Children
My NICU Graduate's JourneyNola’s NICU journey began when she was born at just 26 weeks gestation. Entering the world so early came with many challenges, and the NICU quickly became our second home. What should have been a simple newborn experience turned into months of learning, waiting, praying, and celebrating even the smallest milestones.
Despite being so tiny, Nola showed incredible strength from the very beginning. Through breathing support, feeding challenges, and long days in the hospital, she continued to fight and grow stronger each day.
Today, Nola is a bright, loving little girl who continues to inspire us with her resilience. Her journey has shown us the true meaning of strength, hope, and perseverance, and we are forever grateful for the doctors, nurses, and therapists who helped care for her along the way.
What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?I am most proud of Nola’s strength and resilience. Being born at just 26 weeks, she faced challenges from the very beginning, yet she continues to overcome so much with the biggest smile on her face. Watching her grow from such a tiny baby in the NICU into a happy, loving little girl has been the greatest blessing.
She reminds me every day how powerful determination can be. No matter the obstacles, Nola keeps pushing forward, learning, growing, and bringing joy to everyone around her. Her journey has inspired our entire family, and I could not be prouder of the little fighter she is.
