NICU Hospital for my journeyStrong Memorial Hospital
My NICU Graduate's JourneyKathleen was born 6 weeks earlier, only weighing 3lbs 8oz and 17in long. She had a feeding tube and was in the incubator, she also had a slight case of jaundice. She is 100% a strong willed fighter. She will be 12 this year.
What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?I am so beyond proud of her. Whatever she sets her mind to she goes above and beyond to achieve it. She may only be 4’4” and 60 lbs now but she plays tackle football, basketball, soccer, baseball, and shoots competitive archery. She just returned from nationals for archery. In her state's tournament her team placed 1st in New York State. She is also an amazing big sister to her 10 month old little brother. She is the most loving and caring little girl. I couldn’t be more proud of the person she is becoming. She also helps on our farm with the cows. She usually is somewhere in a pasture with the cows. She truly is an amazing person. I tell her that I want to be her when I grow up and she laughs.
